E-Osmanlıca Database, designed to support the learning of Ottoman Turkish and the development of reading skills, is available for trial access through ANKOS until November 15, 2026.
E-Osmanlıca is a gamified digital learning platform consisting of 79 lessons designed to teach Ottoman Turkish from beginner to advanced levels. Catering to learners of different ages and proficiency levels, the platform supports the learning process through interactive exercises, placement tests, and assessment tools.
Platform Features:
- Gamified and personalized learning content from beginner to advanced levels,
- Placement tests to assess Ottoman Turkish reading proficiency,
- A comprehensive learning program aligned with university curricula, featuring 79 lessons and over 1,000 vocabulary items,
- Knowledge assessment and evaluation through 10 different question types, including true/false, matching, multiple-choice, and transcription exercises,
- Opportunity to receive a Course Completion Certificate upon successfully completing the training.
To access the platform, users are required to register using their institutional email address.
