Wikilala Database has been made available for trial access at our university until November 15, 2025.
Wikilala is a digital library that allows users to search in modern Turkish within texts (newspapers, magazines, books, and documents) published after the invention of the printing press from the Ottoman period (1729–1928) and the Republican period (1923–2023).
The collection includes over 3 million newspaper pages across 22 categories, nearly 2 million magazine pages in 23 categories, and more than 48,000 books in 36 categories, along with the complete archives of major newspapers such as Cumhuriyet (1924–2023), Agos (1996–2023), and Aydınlık. Additionally, users can access prominent periodicals from the Ottoman and Early Republican eras, including Ceride-i Havadis, Tasvir-i Efkâr, Servet-i Fünun, Ulus, Vatan, Milliyet, and Cumhuriyet, and perform full-text searches in modern Turkish across all newspapers for easy access to content.
