TÜBİTAK – ULAKBİM – Springer Nature Open Access Agreement 2025

The ‘Transformative Agreement’ (TA) signed between Springer Nature and TÜBİTAK – ULAKBİM has been reactivated as of January 1, 2025.
The transformation agreement (TA) between Springer Nature and TÜBİTAK has included over 200 institutions. This agreement means that researchers affiliated with these institutions have the right to publish their articles open access in Springer Nature’s hybrid journal portfolio, with publication fees covered. Additionally, researchers from the participating institutions will have access to content in journals across Springer, Adis, Palgrave, Academic Journals, and the Nature portfolio.
In this context, a webinar will be organized to provide information about the TÜBİTAK – ULAKBİM and Springer Transformative Agreement. This webinar is open to the participation of academics, master’s and doctoral students, as well as undergraduate students aspiring to pursue an academic career. The webinar will introduce the TÜBİTAK – ULAKBIM agreement, including which institutions are participating in the agreement, author and article identification and eligibility, as well as an overview of the journey an author will go through when publishing OA under the agreement – from submission to approval of funding. A dedicated session for Tips and tricks on how to write a successful paper for publishing will be included to help you with writing your papers.
